Story
Our wedding was originally planned for March 21st 2020. As the the date approached, it became clear that we were facing the prospect of a global pandemic. We cancelled the wedding nine days before the event, and the next day San Francisco announced a shelter-in-place order.
We were still married on the original date in a small backyard ceremony. In early 2021, we welcomed Baby Flora to our family. We’re delighted to have a fresh opportunity to gather with family and friends now that we have even more to celebrate.

Parking & Transportation
Valet parking will be available starting at 4:30pm for guests who choose to drive. The venue is also accessible via ride share services and the 22 Fillmore Muni route.
Sunday Brunch
We will host a brunch gathering at 18 Reasons from 10am to 1pm the morning after the event. Join us in our neighborhood for an informal meal catered by our favorite local purveyor.
Thanks to everyone who RSVP’d for Sunday Brunch. We have reached the venue’s capacity and cannot accept any further RSVPs. If you’ll still be in town Sunday morning and would like to see us, please get in touch to arrange post-brunch plans!
We do not have a room block this time around, but have a few hotels we can recommend.

There will be valet parking provided at the venue. We imagine most of you will feel more comfortable driving your own vehicle to the event, but if you’d prefer public transportation and/or a shuttle, please let us know!
Covid Safety
We will require proof of up-to-date vaccination for all guests 5 years and older. In addition, we will be providing testing on the day of the event as an extra precaution.
The venue has improved indoor air filtration, and dinner and dancing will take place indoors with no mask requirement. Weather permitting, there will also be an outdoor area available should you feel more comfortable eating and drinking there.
Childcare
Children of all ages are welcome and encouraged to attend! We will be providing childcare onsite. Details to follow.
Wait, is this a wedding? Or what?
Not exactly! We have already been married for over 2 years, and have a sweet toddler, so we’re dispensing with some of the traditional trappings of a wedding. Think of this as more of a “wedding-themed party.”
Will there be a rehearsal dinner or any other events?
We are hosting a brunch the morning after the reception. There will be no rehearsal dinner or other pre-wedding events. Please note that brunch is currently at capacity. If you’ll still be in town on Sunday morning and would like to see us, please get in touch to arrange post-brunch plans!
How should I get to the venue?
Parking near the venue is limited. Valet service will be provided for those who need to drive.
Do you have a registry?
We do not have a registry. We were extremely grateful for your support and generosity when we got married in 2020, and we request no gifts this time around.
